At the IFAC Board Meeting held in Istanbul on June 4th, it was decided that the 2023 IFAC World Congress will be held at Pacifico Yokohama. Along with this, from 2020 to 2023, Professor Hajime Asama of the University of Tokyo will be appointed as IFAC President. It has been 42 years since the IFAC World Congress was held in Kyoto in 1981.
